Image Texture Representation and Detection
Zachar, Tomáš ; Ševcovic, Jiří (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis presents methods used for texture classification and implements programme which is able to realize simple classification and which is capable of generating dynamic bank of filters according to actual texture library. For feature extraction is used combination of Gabor filters with Hu-moments. As classifier there is used algorithm SVM.
Face Detection in Video
Kolman, Aleš ; Řezníček, Ivo (referee) ; Polok, Lukáš (advisor)
The project is focused on face detection in video. Firstly, it contains a summary of basic color models. Secondly, you can find the description and comparison of the basic methods for detection of human skin with a practical example of implementation of parametric detector. Thirdly, a theoretical basis for face detection and face tracking in a video containing a list of basic concepts and methods of this issue follows. Greater emphasis is placed on the description of machine learning algorithm AdaBoost and description of the possible application of the Kalman filter for the purpose of face tracking. Design, implementation and testing of library accomplished within the master thesis are listed in the final part of this thesis.
Vehicle On-Board Camera Analysis
Kadeřábek, Jan ; Bartl, Vojtěch (referee) ; Špaňhel, Jakub (advisor)
This thesis focuses on analysis of video from vehicle on-board camera. During the process of analysis, probihibitory traffic signs are detected and their specific type is classified. For recognized speed limit signs, their numeric value is extracted. From the processed information, it will try to create a file containing the unique occurrences of traffic signs including their GPS coordinates. For the purpose of detection and recognition of traffic signs, several data sets were created. A~cascade classifier with LBP features is used as a detector. Classification of the type and value of traffic signs is done using the k-Nearest Neigbour method.
Copy Detection
Kletzander, Martin ; Zemčík, Pavel (referee) ; Hradiš, Michal (advisor)
This thesis describes content-search methods. Chosen method is applied on finding similar images and video frames. Thesis also qualifies methods used for acceleration of this search. Methods \ are then evauated and their results discussed. Proposal of commonly used enhancements for these methods is made.
Texture Features Evaluation
Průša, Petr ; Hradiš, Michal (referee) ; Šiler, Ondřej (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with statistical description of textures by methods LBP and co-occurence matrix. The co-occurence matrix is evalueted by Haralick's texture features. The implementation is in C++ language with using CImg.h library.
Accelerating Face Anti-Spoofing Algorithms
Autor předkládá čtenáři rozbor a akcelerovanou implementaci široce používaného algoritmu a dopadu urychlení výpočtu.
Evaluation of viability of cardiomyocytes
Kremličková, Lenka ; Čmiel, Vratislav (referee) ; Odstrčilík, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to get acquainted with the properties of image data and the principle of their capture. Literary research on methods of image segmentation in the area of cardiac tissue imaging and, last but not least, efforts to find methods for classification of dead cardiomyocytes and analysis of their viability. Dead cardiomyocytes were analyzed for their shape and similarity to the template created as a mean of dead cells. Another approach was the application of the method based on local binary characters and the computation of symptoms from a simple and associated histogram.
Detection of Wanted People in Video
Bažout, David ; Musil, Petr (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
The aim of this work is to create a software tool for searching of wanted people in video recordings from surveillance cameras. Wanted people are identified to the system using multiple facial photos. The output consists of information on the occurrence of wanted persons in specific frames. The problem consists of face detection and its subsequent identification task. Experiments with existing approaches on appropriate datasets provide relevant comparisons of method performance under different conditions. Appropriate methods and their optimal settings for this particular task are chosen according to the results of the experiments. The thesis also deals with the design of suitable architecture, research of existing libraries implementing the tested methods and other ways of optimizing the calculation. The result is the implementation of a user application that meets the specified parameters. The application's functionality has been tested on the own dataset simulating real-world conditions.
Analysis of retinal nerve fiber layer in fundus images utilizing local binary patterns
Doležal, Petr ; Harabiš, Vratislav (referee) ; Odstrčilík, Jan (advisor)
This work describes LBP (Local Binary Pattern) method in its various forms as a tool for distinguishing images with and without texture. The first part of the essay looks into the retinal nerve fiber layer, loss of the nerve fiber and especially into possibilities of retinal images with help of the fundus camera and into properties of this way received data. Second part of the essay describes and explains the LBP method which uses local binary operators for description of texture by help of histograms. From this way brought force of histograms is possible to gain a complex of features. Due to different classification approaches can then determine if new samples were selected from an image loss of retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL). This solves the next part of the essay. And then is evaluated the correlation of features of LBP histograms of these images with the thickness of the RNFL in the same place. The methods described in this essay have been tested on a set of images in Matlab program and received results show, that the method can be useful for the diagnosis of glaucoma diseases.
Face Features Extraction Methods
Adamček, Ľubomír ; Orság, Filip (referee) ; Goldmann, Tomáš (advisor)
The face has been one of the most attractive available human biometries for a long time due to it's easy and convenient way to obtain it. Possibilities of it's utilization are broad - from security, through monitoring up to enternainment industry. This work presents the domain of face biometry and analyses 3 extraction methods of facial features - PCA, LBP and HOG. A part of this work is also an efficient implementation of these algorithms including GUI designed to experiment with this implementation and to evaluate its performance on a set of images capturing people in various conditions.
